Set Up Your Parent PIN
When the app opens, tap the Parents tab at the bottom. You will be asked to create a 4-digit PIN. This PIN protects your parent settings from your children. Make sure to remember it — you will need it every time you switch to Parents Mode.

Browse the Channel Library and Approve Channels
In Parents Mode, tap Library at the bottom. Browse hundreds of kids YouTube channels organised by category. When you find a channel you trust, tap Approve. The channel and its videos will appear in your child's feed.

Approve Specific Videos (Optional)
Inside any approved channel, you can also approve or remove individual videos. This gives you full control — your child only sees the specific videos you have personally approved.

Hand the Device to Your Child
Tap Kids Mode at the top right to switch back. Your child will see a clean, simple feed of only the content you approved. There is no way to access YouTube, search the internet, or see any content outside what you approved.

On the login screen, tap Forgot Password and enter your email address. You will receive a password reset link. If you do not receive the email within a few minutes, check your spam folder. If you still have trouble, contact us at support@kidssocialapp.com.
On the PIN entry screen, tap Forgot PIN. You will be asked to enter your account password to verify it is you. Once verified, you can set a new 4-digit PIN. Your account password is the one you use to log in to Kids Social.
Yes. you can use Kids Social on two Devices with same Account and subscription. Log in with the same email and password on Second device. Your approved channels, settings are all saved to your account and will appear on second device automatically. But Loggin in on third Device will log you out from First Device.
Go to Parents Mode → Settings → Account → Delete Account. You will be asked to confirm your password. Deleting your account permanently removes all your data including approved channels, watch history, and settings. This cannot be undone.
Every new account gets a 7-day free trial with full access to all features. No payment is required to start the trial. At the end of the trial, you can subscribe to continue. If you do not subscribe, the app will stop playing videos but your account and approved content will be saved.

Subscriptions are managed through Apple App Store or Google Play — not through Kids Social directly. On iPhone: go to Settings → Your Name → Subscriptions. On Android: open the Google Play app → Profile → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions. Find Kids Social and tap Cancel.
Log in to Kids Social with the same account you used originally. Then go to Parents Mode → Settings → Restore Purchase. Your subscription will be restored automatically. Make sure you are using the same Apple ID or Google account that was used to purchase the subscription.
Enter Parents Mode by tapping the Parents tab and entering your PIN. Tap Library at the bottom. Browse or search for a channel. Tap on any channel to see its details, then tap Approve Channel. The channel's videos will appear in your child's feed within a few seconds.
In Parents Mode, tap Approved at the bottom. Find the channel you want to remove and tap on it. Tap Remove Channel. The channel and all its videos will be removed from your child's feed immediately.
No, Only Parents Can request New content in Parents Mode.
Our library is growing every day. If a channel you want is not available yet, please Send Request by tapping Request New Channels Button and send request with the channel name or YouTube link or Video name. We review all requests and add suitable channels as quickly as possible.
In Parents Mode, tap Settings at the bottom, then tap Screen Time. Turn on the schedule toggle and add time slots for each day of the week. For example you might allow watching from 4pm to 6pm on weekdays. Outside these hours the app shows a friendly lock screen and your child cannot play videos.
Screen time enforcement uses the device's local clock. Make sure the device time is set correctly and that automatic time is turned on. Go to Settings → General → Date and Time on iPhone, or Settings → General Management → Date and Time on Android, and enable Set Automatically.
Kids Social streams videos directly from YouTube. If videos are not loading, first check that your internet connection is working. Then try closing the app fully and reopening it. If the problem continues, it may be a temporary issue with YouTube — try again in a few minutes. If the problem persists, contact us at support@kidssocialapp.com.
No. Kids Social requires an internet connection to load and play videos, as all content streams directly from YouTube. An active connection is also needed to load your approved channel list and sync your settings across devices.
Yes. Kids Social is available on both iOS (iPhone and iPad) from the Apple App Store, and on Android phones and tablets from Google Play. Your account works on both platforms — log in with the same email and password on any device.
Kids Social collects only the minimum data needed to operate the app — your email address, your approved channel list, and watch history. We do not collect any personal data from children. We do not sell data to third parties. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
